We operate as a recognised Maori private training establishment with very strong community and employer networks. We have extensive experience over 25 years in managing training establishments and contracts with Government. We also have very close relationships with a number of tertiary education organisations which allow us to facilitate qualifications for clients over and above the core service requirements of the service agreement. We have established ourselves as a training provider that has strong support and guidance systems for our clients, going the extra mile to engage with, look after, coach and mentor all clients that attend our programmes, before during and post training and within the workplace.
Relationships with Tertiary Education Organisations [ITO’s, Polytechnics] built through the directors previous employment within, and delivering programmes on behalf of these TEO’s [BCITO; Skills Organisation, Competenz, MIT; Tai Poutini] mean that Leader International are able to broker training, in work training, apprenticeships for clients once placed. Programmes delivered include employment skills, national certificate in OSH level 3 and 4; NC business – first line management level 3 and 4; NC security level 2, 3 / 4.
Our 2012 NZQA External Evaluation Report illustrates a number of factors which resulted in NZQA giving a category two status [confident in educational performance, confident in capability in self-assessment], which for a new private training establishment is an excellent achievement.
